ဒီပုံလေးတွေက ကျွန်တော့်အတွက် စိတ်ပိုင်းဆိုင်ရာ ကုစားဖို့အတွက်ရော၊ လက်သွေးဖို့အတွက်ရော၊ တခုခုလုပ်ဖြစ်သွားဖို့အတွက်ပါ ရည်ရွယ်ပြီး ခြစ်ထားခဲ့တဲ့ "ဘာမှမတွေး symmetrical doodle" လေးတွေပေါ့။ ၂၀၂၂ ခုနှစ် မတ်လဝန်းကျင်တုန်းက ခြစ်ခဲ့တာလေးတွေ။
ဒီပုံလေးတွေကို စိတ်ထဲ ဘာဆိုဘာမှမတွေးဘဲ ဒီတိုင်း လက်ဦးတည့်ရာ ဆွဲချင်ရာဆွဲ ဆွဲခဲ့တာ။ Satisfying ဖြစ်တယ်၊ Soothing ဖြစ်တယ်၊ Pleasing ဖြစ်တယ် (Symmetrical ရဲ့ ကျေးဇူးကြောင့်လည်း ပါတယ်)။ လက်ရာ ကောင်းတာ မကောင်းတာလည်း အရေးမကြီးဘူး။ ဘာပုံထွက်လာလဲဆိုတာလည်း အရေးမကြီးဘူး။ theory လည်းအရေးမကြီးဘူး။ ဘာပုံဆွဲမှာလဲဆိုတာလည်း အရေးမကြီးဘူး။ Judgement လည်း မလိုဘူး။ Pen နဲ့ Canvas နဲ့ ထိလိုက်တဲ့အချိန်ကနေ လက်ခေါ်တဲ့နောက် လိုက်သွားပြီး၊ အမြင်ရော အတွေးရောဟာ အဲဒီ့ကောက်ကြောင်းတွေနောက်ကို လိုက်သွားဖို့ တခုပဲ။ တနည်းအားဖြင့် မျက်မှောက်အချိန်၊ မျက်စိရှေ့တည့်တည့်မှာ ရှိနေတဲ့ အဲဒီ့လိုင်းတွေကိုပဲ ခေတ္တခဏအာရုံထည့်ပြီး ရွှေ့နေဖို့ပဲ။
ဒီပုံတွေကို လျှောက်ခြစ်ဖြစ်ခဲ့အချိန်က ကျွန်တော် တိမ်းရှောင်ပုန်းအောင်းနေတာ တနှစ်ပြည့်လာတဲ့အချိန်၊ မွန်းကြပ်မှု မလွတ်လပ်မှုတွေ ပြည့်သိပ်နေတဲ့အချိန်၊ toxic သတင်းတွေ... အဖြစ်အပျက်တွေ ဝန်းရံနေတဲ့အချိန်၊ ကိုယ့်အတွေးထဲမှာလည်း Toxic Thought တွေ Guilt Trip တွေ ပြည့်နေတဲ့အချိန်၊ တဖက်မှာ ကိုယ့်ညီအကိုတွေလို ကိုယ်တန်ဖိုးထားရတဲ့သူတချို့ကလည်း နောက်ကွယ်မှာ ကိုယ့်အပေါ်အထင်လွဲမှားမှုတွေနဲ့ ကိုယ့်ကိုကျောခိုင်း ပစ်ပယ်သွားချိန်၊ ကိုယ်တိုင် burn out တွေဖြစ်ပြီး ဘာဆိုဘာမှ လုပ်ကိုင်ဖို့ ဖြေရှင်းဖို့ energy မရှိတဲ့အချိန်၊ Overthinking တွေများပြီး Productivity မရှိတဲ့အချိန်၊ ကိုယ်ကိုယ်တိုင်မှ အဖြစ်မရှိတာ... ကိုယ်မှ အသုံးမကျတာ... ငါ ဒီလိုပုံစံမျိုး ဖြစ်နေရကောင်းလားလို့ ကိုယ့်ကိုယ်ကိုယ် blaming တွေပဲ လုပ်မိနေတဲ့အချိန်၊ Journaling လုပ်ရင်တောင် အတွေးထဲမှာ နစ်ပြီး dwell down ဖြစ်တဲ့အချိန်၊ Emotion တွေ သိပ်ဖြစ်လာရင် Art တွေ ပိုဖန်တီးနိုင်မယ်လို့ ထင်ခဲ့မိပေမယ့် Emotion အပေါ် Inspiration လုပ်လို့ရတဲ့အခြေအနေ မဟုတ်ဘဲ Emotion ထဲမှာ Desperation တွေဖြစ်ပြီးတော့ art block တွေဖြစ်ပြီး ကိုယ်ပိုင် ဘာပုံမှ မဆွဲဖြစ်တဲ့အချိန်၊ တခါတလေ ကိုယ်ပိုင်ပုံလေးတွေ ဆွဲမိရင်ကိုပဲ အဲ့အချိန်မှာ ဖြစ်ပျက်နေတဲ့ အရာတွေကို ကြည့်ပြီး ကိုယ့်ကိုယ်ကိုယ် အပြစ်တင်နေမိတဲ့အချိန်၊ အဲ့လိုလုပ်တာကိုလည်း (အထူးသဖြင့် နာမည်ရှိပြီးသားသူတွေ ကိုယ်ပိုင်သီးသန့် အလုပ်တွေ လုပ်တာကို) အပြစ်တင်တဲ့ ပတ်ဝန်းကျင် သို့မဟုတ် ခေတ် သို့မဟုတ် wave လှိုင်းက သိပ် strong ဖြစ်တဲ့ကာလ၊ စသဖြင့် စသဖြင့် ကိုယ့် internal ကော၊ external ကော၊ timing ပါ လစ်နေတဲ့ အချိန်တွေပေါ့။
အခုပြန်တွေးကြည့်မှသာ သေချာသတိထားမိတာ... အဲ့တုန်းကကျ ကိုယ့်ကိုယ့်ကိုယ် အဲ့လိုဖြစ်နေမှန်းတောင် သတိမထားမိဘဲ ကိုယ့်ကိုယ်ကိုယ် ပြန်ကြည့်တတ်ဖို့ မေ့လျော့မေ့ပျောက် ဖြစ်နေတဲ့အချိန်... ထားပါတော့... ပြောရရင် တကယ်ကြီး ပြောမဆုံးဘူး။ ဘယ်လိုအချိန်မှာ ရေးဖြစ်ခဲ့တယ်ဆိုတာလေးပဲ mention ချင်ရုံပါ။ ပြောရရင် အဲ့ကာလကတော့ ခေတ်ပျက်သူဌေးတွေကလွဲပြီး ကျန်တဲ့လူတွေအကုန် အနည်းနဲ့အများ ဒုက္ခတွေဝေဆာနေတဲ့ အချိန်တွေချည်းပဲ။ အဲ့လိုအချိန်မှာ ကျွန်တော့်ကို အပူအပင်မရှိ ခိုလှုံအနားယူခွင့်ပေးခဲ့တဲ့ မိသားစုတစ်စုကြောင့်သာ ဒီပုံလေးတွေ ခြစ်ခွင့်ရခဲ့တယ်။ တကယ်ကျေးဇူးပါ။
အဲ့လိုအချိန်တွေမှာ ဒီပုံလေးတွေ အခုလို random လျှောက်ရေးခဲ့တာ ထူးခဲ့လားဆိုတော့ ကျွန်တော်လည်း မသိဘူး။ ဘာထူးဖို့မှလည်း မျှော်လင့်တာမဟုတ်လို့။ ထူးခဲ့တာလေးတွေလည်း ရှိကောင်းရှိမယ်။ အနည်းဆုံးတော့ ဒီပုံလေးတွေ ကျန်ခဲ့တာပေါ့လေ။ ဆွဲခဲ့တုန်းက ပြန်တင်ဖို့ ရည်ရွယ်ချက်လည်းမရှိခဲ့ပေမယ့် ကိုယ့် Life journey ရဲ့ ခြေလှမ်းလေးတချို့ကို ဒီလိုပုံလေးတွေ လျှောက်ခြစ်ပြီး ဖြတ်သန်းဖြစ်ခဲ့တယ်ဆိုတာလေးကို ကိုယ့်ကို ဂရုစိုက်တဲ့သူတွေဖြစ်ဖြစ်၊ similar issue တွေကို စိတ်ဝင်စားတဲ့သူတွေဖြစ်ဖြစ် ကြည့်လို့ရအောင် အခု ၂ နှစ်ကျော် ၃ နှစ်အကြာမှာ ပြန် share ပေးတာပါ။ ဒါ့ကြောင့် ဒီပုံလေးတွေကို "ဘာမှမတွေး symmetrical doodle" လို့ ဒီနေ့ဒီချိန် (၂၀၂၄ ဒီဇင်ဘာ) မှပဲ နာမည်ပေးပြီး ပြန် share ပေးလိုက်ပါတယ်။ Enjoy!

These drawings are what I call "thoughtless symmetrical doodles," created with the intention of emotionally healing, reawakening my drawing hand, or simply doing something during a challenging time. I made them back in around March 2022.
I drew these without thinking about anything in particular; just letting my hand flow freely. It felt satisfying, soothing, and pleasing, also thanks to the symmetry. The quality of the work didn’t matter. What the drawing turned out to be didn’t matter. The theory behind it didn’t matter. Even the intention behind what I was drawing didn’t matter. No judgment was needed. From the moment the pen touched the canvas, my hand followed its own course, and my thoughts and vision followed along with the lines. It was simply about being present in the moment and focusing briefly on the lines in front of me, letting them lead me.
At the time I was drawing these, I was a year into hiding from some security issues, surrounded by suffocating pressures, toxic news, overwhelming thoughts, guilt trips, and burnout. People I valued as close as brothers had misunderstood me and turned away. I was overthinking, unproductive, and consumed by feelings of inadequacy, blaming myself and feeling loss. Even journaling led me deeper into those thoughts instead of helping. I’d hoped that intense emotions would fuel creativity, but they only brought desperation and art blocks, leaving me unable to create anything personal. On rare occasions, when I did manage to draw, I ended up criticizing myself for it, influenced by the environment or trends that often harshly judged independent efforts, particularly those by well-known figures pursuing personal work.
Looking back now, I realize that I was quite unaware of my state at the time. It was all about the community in my mind and wasn’t even able to reflect on myself well. So be it. It'd be endless to describe details. I just wanted to mention the period when these doodles were created. That period wasn’t unique to me; almost everyone, except the privileged few, was burdened with huge struggles.
I owe the ability to create these doodles to a family that gave me a safe, pressure-free space during that time. I am deeply grateful for that.
Were drawing these random doodles special at such moments? I don’t know. I wasn’t aiming for anything extraordinary. Maybe there’s something unique in them. At the very least, these doodles remain as a tangible reminder of my life journey. They might not be beautiful on their own, but they represent something beautiful created during an ugly period. Even though I didn’t create them with the intent to share, I’ve decided to do so now, after two or three years, for anyone who cares about me or is interested in similar experiences to see. So today, in December 2024, I’ve named them “thoughtless symmetrical doodles” and decided to share them.
